Valdas Dambrauskas shared his thoughts before the match against "Petrocub"

"A very interesting game awaits us. We have analyzed how the opponent plays, we have watched their recent matches". Sport24.az reports that this was stated by Valdas Dambrauskas, the head coach of "Sabah", in a statement to the press before the match with "Petrocub".

"They are a very interesting team, they play more defensively. The players are very compact, they know what they will do on the field. I think they play a little differently at home and away. At home, they press more, they try to play one-on-one with the opponent all over the field. On the road, their tactical approach is a bit different. There are no favorites in the European Cups, here you always have to fight with all your might, at any moment you can decide the fate of the game.

Of course, we didn't just come here to play. I think "Sabah" should already reach a level where, regardless of where they play, they go into every game to win. We will try to do that too.

The two games we played with "Celje" gave us a lot in terms of understanding our game, realizing our mistakes and seeing what we need to fix. As always in European football, the result is decided by small details. You go out on the field and fight, but in the end, small moments, focus determine the fate of the game. I hope that this time everything will be in our favor".
