"In the first game, "Sabah" showed its potential and did not play weaker than the opponent. It is possible to achieve a positive result in the return match. It is necessary to wait for a chance and definitely take advantage of that chance." These words were said by Vagif Sadigov in his statement to Sport24.az.
The chairman of the Coaches Committee shared his expectations from the return match of the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League between "Sabah" and the Slovenian representative "Celje":
"It is not right to say that passing the stage would be a miracle. With the game shown in the first match, it is impossible to say that "Sabah" is weaker than the opponent. They say that the Slovenian representative played in the 1/4 finals of the Conference League last season. In the match we watched in Masazir, "Sabah" was not behind the opponent in terms of level. Yesterday, even though PSG was shown as the favorite in the final of the interclub world championship, "Chelsea" won. "Sabah" should not be afraid of the opponent in the return game either. Let's not forget that the "owls" defeated a strong opponent like "Qarabag" in the final of the Azerbaijan Cup. At what cost? Of course, thanks to motivation and desire, they lifted the cup over their heads. They should enter the return match with that desire. If we compare "Qarabag" with "Celje" today, we can say that the Aghdam team is many times stronger than them."
