"Since the beginning of the season, "Neftchi" has shown that it deserves to win with its game." Vagif Sadigov said this in his statement to Sport24.az.
The chairman of the AFFA Coaches Committee shared his views on the "Sumgayit" - "Neftchi" match held in the 5th round of the Misli Premier League:
In a difficult away match against "Sumgayit", the team did its best to win. I believe that we will see "Neftchi" regaining its former glory after this. This will increase the intrigue in the championship. We will soon witness "Neftchi"'s bright day. It is not right for us to interfere in the referee's decisions. There are people responsible for this, and they analyze deeply and give due value to all episodes. There can be no question of any bias. There are mistakes, and that is normal. There are shortcomings, and a lot of work is being done to eliminate them. My subjective opinion is that, although there are mistakes, there is no bias by the referees against any team."
It should be noted that the "Sumgayit" - "Neftchi" match ended with a 0:2 victory for the guests.
