"It is easy to explain the results of "Araz-Nakhchivan" in the last rounds from the outside, but being inside is very important. Andrey Demchenko came to the team with a new philosophy. This also shows negative consequences". These words were said by Vagif Sadigov in his statement to Sport24.az.
The chairman of the Coaches Committee commented on the unsuccessful performance of "Araz-Nakhchivan" after the winter break:
"The players are not yet able to fully implement what the head coach wants. Game-to-game defeats also have a negative psychological impact on the players. "Araz-Nakhchivan" has performed as a strong team in our championship. Nothing has been lost this season yet. During Bakhshiyev's time, "Araz-Nakhchivan" was winning with completely different results. In any case, there is an explanation for the step taken. They probably believed that Andrey Demchenko could raise the team to a higher level. It is difficult to comment because we are not inside the team. But based on the latest results, we can say that sending Elmar Bakhshiyev was not the right step".
It should be noted that the Nakhchivan club managed to collect 1 point from 3 games after the winter break.
