"Our team made a very confident impression in the game that took place yesterday." These words were said by Vagif Sadigov, Chairman of the AFFA Coaches Committee, to Sport24.az.
The experienced expert first spoke about the match in which "Qarabag" won against "Shelbourne" in Ireland with three unanswered goals in the II qualifying round of the Champions League:
"We all expected a victory from "Qarabag". The team showed its traditional game yesterday. They made us happy with the result. Although the head coach Gurban Gurbanov is modest, the team should already be thinking about the next stage. I think the opponent will be the Romanian representative FCSB. It is a familiar team to us. Last season we faced each other in the main stage of the Europa League. At that time, the score was not according to the game. We had reconciled with the defeat. I believe that "Qarabag" will show a good game against this opponent in the III qualifying round and achieve a positive result."
It should be noted that the return match between these teams will be held on July 30 at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium and will start at 20:00.
