"There was a lot of talk before the game. It was said that "Hajduk" is a stronger team." Sport24.az reports that these words were said by Vagif Sadigov, the head of the Coaches Committee, in his statement to Sport24.az.
Sadigov shared his views on the draw (1:1) between "Zira" and the Croatian team "Hajduk" in the Conference League:
"I think that "Zira" showed yesterday that "Hajduk's" name is heavier than the game it displays. Therefore, there is no need to be afraid of any opponent. "Zira" has potential. We saw this yesterday as well. It can also achieve a positive result in the return match. The team will enter that match with losses. But the most important thing is the spirit in the team. I think that in the return game, the team will put all its strength and try to make us all happy."
It should be noted that the return match between the teams will take place on July 31 in Split.
