"Araz-Nakhchivan"'s performance in the first game showed that there is hope for a successful result in the return match. The team, which was outnumbered in yesterday's match, did not give up until the end". These words were said by Vagif Sadigov in his statement to Sport24.az.
The chairman of the Coaches Committee shared his views on "Araz-Nakhchivan", which eliminated Greek "Aris" from the competition and qualified for the III qualifying round of the Conference League:

Despite being outnumbered in the game against "Aris", we watched a psychologically prepared team. We have now reached the level where Azerbaijani clubs are taken into account. "Omonia" is not weak. Elmar Baxshiyev also knows the Cypriot club well. Elmar's work is evident. I believe that he and his team will achieve even greater success".
It should be noted that "Araz-Nakhchivan"'s opponent in the next stage will be "Omonia" (Cyprus). The first matches of the III qualifying round will be held on August 7, and the return matches will be held on August 14. "Araz-Nakhchivan" will hold its first match "within its own walls".
