The Uzbekistan national team has qualified for the FIFA World Cup for the first time in its history.
According to "Report", the Uzbek players drew 0:0 against the UAE team in the ninth round of the third round group stage of the Asian zone of the 2026 World Cup.
The Uzbekistan team is in second place in Group A with 18 points. The UAE team in third place (14 points) has lost the chance to surpass the Uzbekistan team.
It should be noted that the 2026 World Cup will be held in the USA, Mexico and Canada.
