Usman Dembele has been named the best footballer of the past season. Sport24.az reports that the 28-year-old PSG and France national team winger has won the 2025 Ballon d'Or.
In the 2024/25 season, Dembele won the French Championship, the National Cup, the Super Cup and the Champions League with PSG. He scored 35 goals and provided 14 assists in 53 games for the club.
It should be noted that since 2022, the Ballon d'Or has been awarded based on the results of the season (from August 1, 2024 to July 31, 2025) and not on the calendar year.
