The US Embassy in Azerbaijan has shared a post about Nariman Akhundzade, who transferred from "Qarabag" to the "Columbus Crew" club representing the state of Ohio.
İdman.Biz reports that the embassy congratulated the football player on this achievement in its post.
"We sincerely congratulate Azerbaijani football star Nariman Akhundzade on signing a contract with the Columbus Crew club representing the state of Ohio in the USA! The talented young striker, who has gained wide acclaim for his brilliant and memorable performances with "Qarabag FK", is the first Azerbaijani football player to sign a contract with the US "Major League Soccer" (MLS) league," the embassy said in its post.
The embassy also wished the "Qarabag" club success and a confident victory in tonight's Champions League match.
