The online publication "Goal" has presented a new list of the main contenders for the "Golden Ball" award in 2025. Sport24.az reports that there is not a single football player from "Inter" among the 10 main favorites.
PSG, whose Milan representative lost in the Champions League final, has only four football players in the top ten.
The 10 nominees for the "Golden Ball" are:
1. (1) Ousmane Dembele (PSG)
2. (2) Lamin Yamal (Barcelona)
3. (3) Rafinha (Barcelona)
4. (5) Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)
5. (8) Kilian Mbappe (Real Madrid)
6. Dezire Due (PSG), (was not on the list)
7. (Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (PSG), (was not on the list)
8. Achraf Hakimi (PSG), (was not on the list)
9. (6) Pedri (Barcelona)
10. (7) Harry Kane (Bayern).
It should be noted that the Parisian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma (fourth), Inter's striker Lautaro Martinez (ninth) and Barcelona's Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, who previously closed the top ten, were not among the nominees this time.
