On Tuesday, Tottenham lost to Atletico Madrid (2:5), Liverpool lost to Galatasaray (0:1), and Newcastle drew with Barcelona (1:1).
On Wednesday, Manchester City lost to Real Madrid (0:3), Chelsea lost to PSG (2:5), and Arsenal failed to beat Bayer (1:1).
It should be noted that, apart from Newcastle, the other English teams played away this week.
Return matches will be held on March 17 and 18.
