"It was a tough match for us." These words were said by Umarali Rakhmonaliev, a football player of the "Sabah" club, to Sport24.az.
The midfielder shared his thoughts on the match of the VII round of the Misli Premier League, in which they won away against "Karvan-Yevlax":
"It is always more difficult to play with such teams than with leaders. Because you can't guess what game the opponent will show.
The player also explained the reason for the difficulty they faced on the field:
"The opponent was defending with almost the entire team. Despite this, as a team, we made good use of the opportunities we had in the forward line and took the lead with a score of 2:0 in the first half. We also had opportunities after the break. We won the 3 points that were important to us. I am happy about that."
Umarali Rakhmonaliev said that they want to line up victories after a short break in the championship.
It should be noted that "Sabah" defeated "Karvan-Yevlax" with two unanswered goals. The "Owls" will host "Zira" in the VIII round on October 19.
