Honorary President of "Bayern" Uli Hoeness has strongly criticized the management of "Barcelona".
Idman.Biz reports that Hoeness criticized the leadership of the Catalan club for the debt issue.
"It is absurd that they have debts of more than 1.3 billion euros. This is inconceivable and unbearable. In no other country would they be allowed to play in the top division with such a debt. Of course... and nothing happens here. "Barcelona" is not the management model I imagine for a team. This is in stark contrast to our control at "Bayern" and our stable finances, which should be a model for European clubs. It is clear that sound management, sound financial analysis and sporting results do not depend on risky financial manipulation," Marca quotes Hoeness as saying.
After 13 matches in the Spanish league, "Barcelona" has 31 points and is in second place in the standings.
