Ukrainian footballer Georgi Sudakov may debut for Benfica in the UEFA Champions League main stage match against Qarabag. Sport24.az reports that this was reported by the publication "Record.pt".
The head coach of the Lisbon team, Bruno Laje, was dissatisfied with some players in the championship match against Santa Clara (1:1). The specialist is therefore ready to release Sudakov in the first "11".
Ukrainian publication "Football24" emphasized that goalkeeper Anatoli Trubin will also be in the starting lineup: "Trubin and Sudakov can take revenge on the Azerbaijanis after the unsuccessful draw (1:1) of the Ukrainian national team in Baku in the qualifying round of DC-2026."
It should be noted that today's Benfica - Qarabag match, which will be held at the Estádio da Luz stadium in Lisbon, will start at 23:00 Baku time.
