The Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) has confirmed that it has held talks with Italian specialist Fabio Cannavaro for the main national team.
"Report" reports that the UFA press service has released information about this.
The organization emphasized that they have started systematic work in all directions related to preparing for the World Championship.
It should be noted that earlier the media reported that Cannavaro had reached an agreement to become the new head coach of the Uzbekistan national team. The national team of this country qualified for the final stage of the 2026 World Cup.
