UEFA's Disciplinary Committee has sanctioned Fenerbahçe striker John Duran. Sport24.az reports that the highest football body has disqualified the Colombian footballer for the red card he received in the 5th round of the Europa League group stage match against Ferencvaros.
Duran was shown a "red" card in the 90+1st minute of the match for hitting his opponent. UEFA has imposed a 2-match ban on the 21-year-old forward.
It should be noted that Fenerbahçe signed John Duran on loan from Al-Nassr at the beginning of the season. The Colombian international has scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists in 13 official matches for the Istanbul team.
