UEFA has released the financial report for the 2024/2025 season.
Idman.Biz reports, citing the organization's official website, that the European football body allocated a total of 11 million 54 thousand euros to AFFA last season.
Of this, 2 million 980 thousand euros were transferred to the national association's account for the Azerbaijan national team (annual solidarity payment).
Under the solidarity payment program for clubs not participating in the group stages of European Cup competitions, 4 million 802 thousand euros were paid. A total of 3 million 222 thousand euros were allocated for clubs that stopped competing in the Europa League (1 million 37 thousand euros) and the Conference League (2 million 185 thousand euros).
The solidarity payment for clubs not participating in the Women's Champions League amounted to 50 thousand euros.
It should be noted that solidarity payments are distributed equally among top-division clubs that miss the group stages of European Cups.
