The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has announced the penalties imposed on "Bavaria" for the behavior of fans in the match against "Sporting", which they won with a score of 3:1 in the 6th round of the Champions League.
According to Idman.Biz, the club was given a conditional penalty of partial closure of fan sectors in the seventh round of the Champions League match against "Union", a fine of 30,000 euros, and a conditional penalty related to partial closure of the fan sector for a two-year probationary period.
In addition to the match with "Sporting", "Bavaria" was also fined 70,000 euros for the fact that fans threw objects unsuitable for a sports event, disturbed public order and chanted slogans during the match against "Arsenal" at the "Emirates" stadium.
In the match with "Sporting", the fans of the Munich club put on a fiery show. At the beginning of the second half, the field at the "Arena Munhen" was covered with thick smoke, as fans simultaneously lit more than 80 torches.
After six matches played in the Champions League, "Bavaria" is in second place in the tournament table with 15 points.
