UEFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against Diego Simeone, the head coach of the Spanish club Atletico.
According to Report, this was caused by the Argentine specialist's argument with a fan in the first round of the Champions League match against Liverpool.
Towards the end of the match, Simeone drew attention to himself with an indecent gesture towards an English fan and argued with him. As a result, the specialist, who was penalized with a red card, was expelled from the substitutes' bench. He attributed this behavior to provocations by fans.
It should be noted that the match ended with Liverpool's 3:2 victory.
