According to the source, the organization is dissatisfied with the decrease in revenues from the sale of broadcasting rights and is ready to change the formula for holding qualifying tournaments.
Specifically, it is proposed to use the Nations League as part of the qualifying round for the World Cup or the European Championship.
The working group is also discussing the introduction of the Swiss model with a single league table. This format has been used in European competitions since last season.
