The UEFA Disciplinary Committee has fined English club Tottenham €30,000 for discriminatory behavior by fans during the Champions League Round of 8 match against German side Eintracht Frankfurt.
Idman.Biz reports that the match took place on January 28 in Frankfurt and ended with a 2-0 victory for Tottenham.
According to the BBC, three Tottenham fans gave Nazi salutes during the game. In addition to the fine, the club has been banned from selling tickets to its fans for the team's next away match under UEFA auspices. The ban is suspended for a period of one year from the date of the decision. Tottenham was also fined €2,250 for throwing objects onto the field.
