The winner of the UEFA Europa League 2024/2025 season will be determined today.
"Report" informs that two English clubs - "Tottenham" and "Manchester United" - will face each other in the decisive match.
The match will start at 23:00 Baku time at the "San Mames" stadium in Bilbao, Spain. The match will be managed by German referee Felix Zwayer.
Of the teams that will face each other in the final, "Tottenham" has won the tournament 2 times (1971/1972, 1983/1984) in its history, and "Manchester United" 1 time (2016/2017). The team that has won the most championships in the UEFA Europa League so far is the Spanish representative "Sevilla" - 7 times.
The player who scored the most goals in the history of the tournament is former Swedish national team member Henrik Larsson. The 59-year-old former midfielder leads the list of top scorers with 40 goals.
It should be noted that the winner of last year's UEFA Europa League was the Italian club "Atalanta".
