The first leg of the Conference League quarter-final between Rayo Vallecano (Spain) and AEK Athens (Greece) has concluded. The match took place at the Estadio Vallecas in Madrid. The home team won with a score of 3:0.
Ilyas Ahomach, the home team's midfielder, scored the first goal of the match in the second minute. Towards the end of the first half, in the 45+2 minute, midfielder Unai Lopez increased Rayo Vallecano's lead. In the second half, in the 74th minute, forward Isi Palazon made the score 3:0 from a penalty.
The second leg between AEK and Rayo Vallecano will take place on April 16.
