The return matches of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 have started.
Sporting hosted Norway's Bodo-Glimt in Portugal. The first match between these teams in Norway ended with a 3-0 victory for the home side.
Gonzalo Inácio opened the scoring for Sporting in the 34th minute. Pedro Gonçalves scored the second goal in the 61st minute – 2:0. Luis Suárez scored the third goal against the Norwegians in the 79th minute – 3:0. In the 92nd minute of added time, Maximiliano Vilches scored Sporting's fourth goal. Rafael Nel put the final point in the game at 120+1 – 5:0.
Thus, Sporting qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
