UCL: Federico Valverde named Player of the Week

The best player of the first leg matches of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 has been announced. Sport24.az reports that Federico Valverde, who plays for Real Madrid, has been awarded this title.

 

This was reported by the tournament's press service.

 

The Uruguayan midfielder surpassed Michael Olise (Bayern), Julian Alvarez (Atletico), and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (PSG) in the voting.

 


It should be noted that Federico Valverde scored the goals that secured Real's victory in the match against Manchester City.
