Aykhan Suleymanli, the captain of the Azerbaijan national team consisting of football players under 21, hopes that the team will gain points in the match against Scotland today.
The defender, who is currently injured, gave an interview to "Report" about this.
He shared his thoughts about the opponent:
"Although the Scottish national team is physically athletic, they also have weaknesses. If we can take advantage of this, we can achieve good results. I hope we can gain points in this match."
The captain of the U-21 said that despite his injury, he is always with his teammates:
"I will support my team this time as well. Although I was not there in the away match against the Czech Republic, I was in constant contact with the guys. I was providing support from afar."
A.Suleymanli added that the recovery process is going well:
"I'm slowly starting to do active movements. I feel good."
