Germany was the European champion in 2021, and England in 2023. The English, who started the game well, took the lead with a score of 2-0, but the Germans were able to make a comeback. The 90 minutes ended with a score of 2:2. In extra time, the England team scored the winning goal and managed to defend the title. The team became European champion for the 4th time in its history. The Spanish and Italian national teams have 5 championship titles each.
