The quarter-final match between Spain and Colombia at the 2025 U-20 World Cup has ended.
Idman.Biz reports that the match held at the "Fiscal de Talca" stadium in Talca, Chile, ended with a 3:2 victory for the South American team.
Colombian striker Neiser Villarreal opened the scoring in the 38th minute. Spanish winger Rayan Belaid equalized in the 57th minute, and just 3 minutes later, Spanish winger Han Virgili put the Europeans ahead. Villarreal then scored his second goal in the 65th minute to restore parity, and scored his third goal in the 89th minute to give Colombia the victory.
It is worth noting that the Colombian national team will face the winner of the Argentina-Mexico match (October 12) in the 1/4 finals.
The 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup will be held in Chile from September 27 to October 19.
