The Azerbaijan national team, consisting of football players under 19, won in the last match of the European Championship qualifying round. Sport24.az reports that the team, coached by Elkhan Abdullayev, faced Malta.
The match ended with the victory of the Azerbaijani team - 2:1. Nadir Orujov scored in the 60th minute, and Shahismayil Jafarov scored in the 80th minute.
It should be noted that U-19 previously lost to the Czech Republic 1:6 and Northern Ireland 0:1.
