The Azerbaijan national team, consisting of football players under 19, who are in training camp in Slovenia, played its first game today in the "Slovenia Nations Cup" friendly tournament.
Idman.biz reports that U-19 faced the corresponding age group team from Iceland. The match held at the "Preddvor" stadium ended with a 2:1 victory for Elkhan Abdullayev's team. Ziya Shakarxanov in the 46th minute and Shahin Ibrahimov in the 55th minute scored goals for our team.
It should be noted that U-19 will play its next game within the international tournament against the Faroe Islands national team on September 6.
