Nicolas Figal and Ander Herrera, players of the Argentine club "Boca Juniors," have been penalized with a 4-match ban after the match against "Benfica" (Portugal) in the Club World Championship.
"Report" reports with reference to "Reuters" that A. Herrera received a red card for insulting the referee at the end of the first half, although he was substituted in the 20th minute due to injury.
N. Figal, on the other hand, was sent off in the 88th minute for a rough foul against an opponent.
It is emphasized that the Argentine club does not agree with the sanctions and intends to appeal the decision.
It should be noted that the match between "Boca Juniors" and "Benfica" in Group C ended in a 2:2 draw.
