There is uncertainty regarding the head coach in "Turan Tovuz". According to the information obtained by Sport24.az, the head coach of the "grey wolves", Kurban Berdyev, is not answering the calls of the management.
A meeting of the club management with the participation of the head coach was supposed to be held on June 1st or 2nd. At the meeting, plans for the new season were to be drawn up and decisions were to be made regarding the formation of a new team. However, there has been no news from Berdyev, who went to Russia at the end of the season. Officials have tried to contact the 72-year-old specialist several times these days, but it has been impossible. Berdyev does not answer calls from Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that "Turan Tovuz", coached by Berdyev, finished the 2024/25 season in 4th place and remained outside the European Cups.
