A meeting of the AFFA Disciplinary Committee was held. Sport24.az reports that the following decisions were made at the meeting regarding the first matches of the Bizon Azerbaijan Cup semi-final stage:
On April 3, 2026, in the first semi-final match of the Bizon Azerbaijan Cup, "Turan Tovuz" - "Zira", the "Turan Tovuz" team was fined 5,000 manats for mass insulting expressions addressed to the referees by the fans of the "Turan Tovuz" team (article 52.5);
On April 3, 2026, after the first semi-final match of the Bizon Azerbaijan Cup, "Turan Tovuz" - "Zira", the "Turan Tovuz" team was fined 15,000 manats for statements deliberately degrading and questioning the reputation and credibility of AFFA, its bodies or member organizations by Ehtiram Guliyev, chairman of the board of the "Turan Tovuz" club (article 88.4);
On April 3, 2026, in the first semi-final match of the Bizon Azerbaijan Cup "Turan Tovuz" - "Zira", the "Zira" team was fined 700 manats for receiving 4 yellow cards in the "Zira" team (article 43.1).
