Ehtiram Guliyev, Chairman of the Board of "Turan Tovuz", met with Bernd Stange, a friend of the German-Azerbaijani Society and a well-known football expert, within the framework of the "Azerbaijan-Germany Friendship Week".
"Report" reports with reference to the club's press service that, in addition to the German expert, the chairman of the society Chingiz Abdullayev, the chairman of the Board of "Shamakhi" Elchin Usub and football veteran Vali Gasimov also participated in the meeting.
At the meeting, the guests were given detailed information about Tovuz football and the club. It was emphasized that the foundation of football in Tovuz was laid by the Germans at the beginning of the last century. At the same time, the guests were also given extensive information about "Shamakhi".
An exchange of views took place and possible cooperation opportunities were discussed. At the end of the meeting, the honorary guest was presented with the "Turan Tovuz" uniform. The chairman of the society, Chingiz Abdullayev, presented Ehtiram Guliyev with a historical photo taken at the first official match held in Tovuz in 1920, "Rote Fahne" - "Tovuz".
