Azerbaijani football player Turan Manafov's work permit in South Africa, where he is transferring to the "Stellenbosch" club, will be resolved in approximately ten days.
The 26-year-old midfielder made a statement to "Report" about this.
He explained the reason why his transfer has not been announced:
"This is not a matter that depends on the club or me. It is related to not obtaining a work permit. After that document arrives, the team will officially announce my transfer. That is the only problem. Other issues have been fully resolved. We are currently waiting for the document. It should be resolved in the coming days. The document should arrive in approximately 10 days."
T.Manafov said that his transfer could be formalized next week:
"The transfer is expected to be officially announced next week. I am currently participating in training sessions as a player of the team. I have also passed the medical examination and participate in collective training as a member of the club. Only the document I mentioned remains."
The player explained his choice of South Africa as follows:
"They wanted me last summer as well. I was also planning to live the life of a legionnaire. That's why I made this decision. This is a new challenge for me."
It should be noted that Turan Manafov last wore the uniform of "Kapaz".
