"We played against a very strong opponent. We managed to get a point from "Sabail" in the first round as well. They have a strong squad, they are superior to us in terms of conditions. Our situation is known to everyone. We have many problems." These words were said by Tural Jalilov, the captain of "Shimal", a representative of the First League, in his statement to Sport24.az.
The experienced football player shared his thoughts on the game in which his team defeated "Sabail" in the 12th round of the league:
"We need to strengthen as a team. We have performed well in all matches in the championship, except for 1-2 games. We just wasted the episodes we created. This result had to come sometime, and it coincided with the match against "Sabail". The players fought to the end, used the episodes we created and won. 3 points were important for us. Going on vacation with a victory creates a high spirit among the players. We want to make new transfers during the break. We need to be better in the second half of the season. Although this is our first year in the First League, we do not want to leave the league."
It should be noted that "Shimal" is in the last place in the tournament table with 5 points after 12 rounds in the First League.
