Idman.Biz reports that FIFA presented Trump with the organization's Peace Award at the end of last year.
"Almost everyone here is a head of state, and the head of football, Gianni, is with us - that's not too bad. I like your work the most.
I want to thank Gianni and FIFA for all the wonderful things they've done and continue to do. They gave me the first Peace Award.
I think they saw what Norway did to me and said, 'let's give him the Peace Award,'" the US president said.
