Benfica's Ukrainian goalkeeper Anatoli Trubin has achieved a record previously held by only four goalkeepers in Champions League history. Sport24.az reports that the Opta Sport analytical portal shared this information on its social media account.
According to the source, Trubin became the fifth goalkeeper to score in the UEFA Champions League after Hans-Jörg Butt (three goals), Sinan Bolat, Vincent Enyeama, and Ivan Provedel (one goal each).
It should be noted that Trubin scored his team's 4th goal in the 90+8th minute of the Champions League 8th round match against Real (4:2) last night, which elevated the "eagles" to the Champions League play-offs.
