Former French national team striker David Trezeguet shared his thoughts on Polish striker Robert Lewandowski.
Idman.Biz reports that he stated that the Polish forward continues to perform at a high level despite his age.
"Even if he was 37, I would transfer Lewandowski to Juventus because he is in a different category," Trezeguet emphasized.
He added that Lewandowski is one of the rare players who has preserved the classic striker role in modern football: "He is one of the last remaining classic 'number nine' type strikers in football, and in this regard, he can be compared with Erling Haaland."
Trezeguet also noted that the footballer's physical characteristics have changed to some extent: "Perhaps he has changed physically, but he is strong, intelligent, and knows how to score goals."
