The reputable "Transfermarkt" portal has published a list of the 10 most valuable goalkeepers in the world today. Sport24.az reports that the most expensive goalkeeper is Gianluigi Donnarumma, the "frame protector" of "Manchester City" and the Italian national team. The value of the "Citizens" goalkeeper is estimated at 45 million euros.
"Porto" goalkeeper Diogo Costa is second in the ranking (40 million euros), and Gregor Kobel, who plays for Borussia Dortmund, is third (40 million euros).
Note that Donnarumma has been playing for "Manchester City" since the summer of 2025. During his career, the Italian goalkeeper defended the honor of "Milan" and PSG.
