The Tabriz "Traktor" football team has departed for Saudi Arabia to participate in the Elite Champions League.
Idman.Biz reports that the Tabriz representative traveled overland to Van, Turkey, yesterday, and from there by plane to Istanbul. Today, the team flew from Istanbul on a direct flight to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Seven legionary footballers of the club joined the team in Istanbul and traveled to Saudi Arabia under the leadership of Mohammad Rabiei.
Two members of the team, Mehdi Shiri and Seyed Mehdi Hosseini, were unable to participate in the trip to Turkey because their passports had expired. It is expected that their problem will be resolved today, and after receiving their new passports, they will first travel to Turkey and then to Saudi Arabia to join the team.
