The price of a train ticket from New York to the "MetLife" stadium in New Jersey will increase sharply ahead of the 2026 World Cup in the USA.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to "The Athletic" that the ticket price for this route in the summer will be more than 100 dollars (170 AZN).
Currently, such a round-trip ticket can be purchased for only $12.9 (21.9 AZN). This means that prices will increase at least seven times before the championship.
It is reported that the final price has not yet been approved. However, NJ Transit has already announced that the transportation service for the eight games to be held at "MetLife" will cost the organization approximately $48 million.
This stadium will also host the final of the World Cup on July 19, 2026.
