"Tractor" lost to "Esteghlal", ending a seven-month unbeaten streak

Iran's reigning champion "Tractor" started the new season with a defeat. Sport24.az reports that the "Wolves" lost 0:1 to "Esteghlal" within "native walls" this time, after winning 2:1 against them in the Super Cup a few days ago.

 

This was "Tractor's" first defeat in the last seven months. The Tabriz club last lost to "Persepolis" in January of this year - 0:2.
