Italian football legend Francesco Totti has spoken about Luciano Spalletti, one of the main candidates for the position of head coach of Juventus.
Idman.Biz reports that Italian coach Luciano Spalletti may sign a contract with Juventus until the end of the 2025/26 season, with the possibility of extending the contract. It is not yet known whether the contract extension will last for one or two years. However, the 66-year-old specialist is already inclined to accept both options.
"I know he is one of the candidates for this position. I think Luciano will be a great transfer for Juventus. Luciano is a strong, loyal coach and tries to succeed wherever he is. Juventus will make a great deal by transferring him," Calciomercato quoted Totti as saying.
Spalletti previously coached Roma, Inter, Napoli and the Italian national team.
On October 27, Juventus announced the resignation of head coach Igor Tudor, who had been with the club since March 2025.
Juventus have collected 12 points after eight games in Serie A this season and are eighth in the standings.
