Italian expert Roberto De Zerbi is considered the main candidate for the vacant head coach position of "Tottenham". Sport24.az reports that insider Fabrizio Romano shared this information on his "X" social media account.
According to the source, the London club is continuing negotiations with the 46-year-old specialist and demands that he start working as soon as possible. It is reported that the club is ready to offer De Zerbi a long-term contract.
"Tottenham" announced the departure of Igor Tudor from the position of head coach a few days ago. The Croatian specialist and his assistants Tomislav Rogic and Riccardo Ragnacci left the club by mutual agreement. Tudor had been working as head coach since mid-February. De Zerbi left "Marseille" in February.
It should be noted that after 31 rounds of the Premier League, "Tottenham" is in 17th place in the standings with 30 points. They have gained one point in their last seven league games.
