"Tottenham", one of the best football clubs in England, has announced the dismissal of Thomas Frank from the position of head coach.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the Tottenham management was dissatisfied with the team's recent results in the Premier League.
The London club's press service announced that the 52-year-old Danish coach was dismissed on February 11.
"The club has decided to change the head coach. We appointed him in June 2025 and remained committed to giving him the time and support necessary to work together on the future. However, the results and performances have led the board to believe that a change of coach is necessary at this stage of the season."
"Tottenham" is currently on an eight-game winless streak in the English Premier League. The team has not been able to win since December 28 and is in 16th place in the standings with 29 points after 26 games.
However, Thomas Frank brilliantly led the Londoners in the Champions League stage. His team finished fourth and advanced directly to the 1/8 finals, defeating many European giants.
