Conor Gallagher could become a Tottenham player.
According to Idman.Biz, citing The Athletic, the London club is close to signing a contract with the Atletico midfielder.
Tottenham have made a 40 million euro offer and it is expected to be accepted. The English footballer himself is also interested in the transfer.
As previously reported, Aston Villa were also very interested in Gallagher, but an agreement was not reached due to the club's commitment to Financial Fair Play.
The England international spent 18 months in Spain after joining Atletico from Chelsea for 42 million euros in the summer of 2024.
In his first season, Gallagher was a regular starter, playing 50 games and scoring four goals. This season he has played 19 games in La Liga and scored two goals.
