The International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) has revealed the clubs that have earned the most from the sale of their youth players in the last 10 years. According to Sport24.az, Benfica of Portugal is in first place.
The Lisbon team's earnings are shown as 589 million euros.
Ajax of the Netherlands is in second place. The "Oranje" have earned 454 million euros from the sale of players from their academy.
Chelsea of England completes the "top three" - 442 million euros.
