Former Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos commented on the situation with Cristiano Ronaldo, the striker of Al-Nassr, a representative of the Saudi Arabian League. Sport24.az reports that the German footballer spoke about this in one of the podcasts he was a guest on:
"The Saudi Arabian League is a ridiculous place because no one had heard of it before Cristiano came, and now they don't respect the person who brought them world fame. Let me be clear: if Cristiano leaves there tomorrow, no one will watch this league anymore."
It should be noted that Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly dissatisfied with the policies of the Saudi Arabian investment fund, which owns the clubs Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal, and Al-Ahli. According to media reports, the Portuguese is dissatisfied with Al-Nassr's winter transfers.
